To those who are suffering under the rain and / or on dangerous fields, we wanted to send sunny girly smiles from my Ch'ti place.
You can recognize Bertie - soon in Thailand -, Asia - soon in Manchester -, Séverine - back from Ghana - and I. Let me introduce to you Hélène, who is Medical Student, doing her Internship in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases in Lille. We shared a lunch in Lille last sunday...we shared some drinks with a warm "Santé !" "Nasdrovié !" "Skaul !" "Prost !" "Karibu !" and with friendly supporting thoughts for you all around the world!
This sunday "meeting" was not really well and at last minute organized, I apologize... but we are planning a diner at Asia's parent's restaurant, "La Vallée du Kashmir" in Brussels on Tuesday, 17th : you are welcome, just confirm your presence on Asia's email !

I'm sending to you other girly smiling faces ... not really tropical and usually completely overbooked but always keeping a good mood... and with some imagination to make daily life really pleasant : here below are my colleagues in Lille's University Hospital, infectious diseases ward. The girl who is playing a kind of Kung Fu with 2 mobile phones is Karine, my Chief. The girl with the book is Sandy : she is from Maurice's Island and also doing her internship in Internal Medicine. We are the "Guery's Angels" : our head of ward, Professor Guery, the poor lonesome "male" in our team, is also a blues-rock guitarist and singer... and we call him all together "Hello Charlie !" on phone when he is far and we have to ask some advices...or when we are harassed by the crazy occidental administration.
